Conestoga Pioneers Freshman stole the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Garnet Valley on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Conestoga Pioneers Freshman batting in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run for Conestoga Pioneers Freshman.

Ethan Tartaglio (pictured) took the win for Conestoga Pioneers Freshman. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out two.

Harry S. Truman opened up scoring in the first inning on a fielding error that scored one run.
Conestoga Pioneers Varsity knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning with Cam Marcus’s sac fly scored one run for the Pioneers, and racked up another run in the third on a Buck groundout to first.
Demonstrating his ability to lead the team and to come through in the clutch, Luke Czepiel (pictured) followed up with a 3 run home run in the 5th inning to the put the Pioneers in the lead for good.
Buck got the start and the win for Conestoga Pioneers Varsity. He lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out four.

The senior second baseman is a skilled batsman, compiling a batting average of .481 with 25 hits (as of May 13) with 13 RBIs, 10 runs scored and only four strikeouts. Conestoga head coach Matt Diamond noted, “He is also playing phenomenal defense at second base.” The University of South Carolina-bound senior has played the keystone position since his Little League tournament days at age 11.

The Conestoga Pioneers Varsity was victorious against Lower Merion in the last league regular season game on Monday.
Conestoga Pioneers Varsity got things started in the first inning. Conestoga Pioneers Varsity scored one run when Ryan Buck singled and another when Luke Czepiel doubled.
Buck led things off on the mound for Conestoga Pioneers Varsity. He lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out five.
Alec Deegan started the game for Lower Merion. He allowed two hits and two runs over one inning, striking out one. Casey Murphy and Marlon Rose entered the game as relief, throwing five and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
Conestoga Pioneers Varsity totaled ten hits in the game. Cam Marcus, Luke Czepiel, Buck, and Luke Borger all managed multiple hits for Conestoga Pioneers Varsity. Marcus went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Conestoga Pioneers Varsity in hits.
